Texas Equine Show Team
At Texas Equine Education & Horsemanship, we are passionate about encouraging our students to excel in every aspect of horsemanship. One of the most rewarding ways to challenge yourself as a rider is by participating in horse shows. These events provide an opportunity to set goals, refine skills, and engage in friendly competition. With the rise of online horse shows, competing has never been more accessible or exciting.

Students will practice the chosen patterns during class and will film either that same class or the next. Once the pattern has been filmed, Texas Equine will submit the video and complete the entry information.
-
Divisions include: Lead Line (10 and under), Beginner Youth (8 and under), Junior Youth (9-13), Senior Youth (14-18), Open Beginner (adults in their first year of showing) and Open.

Students interested in participating in DSO shows will work with their instructor to determine what test to ride and which horse to use.

Students do not need to hold a membership with USDF or WDAA to participate in shows. WDAA shows are considered "recognized" so students may accumulate points and qualify for larger shows if they are members in good standing.
-
While these shows are considered "laid back", we highly encourage students to dress in appropriate show attire while filming. Western: long sleeve button down, jeans, belt and western boots. English: collared shirt, light colored breeches and english boots (tall boots or paddock boots with half chaps).
-
Show fees for each test are: $50 for each class.
-
Texas Equine will send an invoice for each show and it must be paid by the due date to participate.
